What we offer

Skillbuild ......

...... and Skillbuild Plus are part of the work-based learning programme funded by DELLS. These programmes are delivered in partnership with employers and aim to support young people and adults to undertake job tasters and first steps training to address their individual barriers to accessing work or higher levels of training.

Traineeships ......

...... are work-based training opportunities for young people aged 16-18 years old. There are two different levels available. Level 1 is more suited to school leavers who generally have achieved Grade D or lower in Maths and English. Level 2 is aimed at school leavers who have better GCSE Grades in Maths and English and are more likely to have had some form of work experience or a part-time job.

All Trainees would work up to 40 hours per week, however they would not work more than 5 days in a row, and all would receive a training allowance.

Protocol Skills aim to ensure that all Trainees are offered the opportunity to gain an employed position with the participating employer. This can happen at anytime and does not affect the delivery of the NVQ qualification the Trainee is undertaking.

Modern Apprenticeships ......

...... offer learners over 16 the opportunity to develop good levels of skills and to progress within their career. The programmes are an exciting way of gaining skills and qualifications that immediately contribute to professional skills development without having to study full-time.

All Modern Apprenticeship frameworks are developed by the industry or sector in which they will be implemented and therefore encompass all the skills required to become a craftsman, technician or manager within that area.

Modern Apprenticeships can be done at any age.
