
Training Assessors
Our Training Assessors deliver work-based learning to their caseload of learners, motivating them to achieve their NVQ Level 2 and 3 qualifications. This includes Key Skills and Technical Certificates. Travel throughout the region is an essential part of the role. Regional Directors
Regional Directors drive the strategic direction and performance of their region. (All Area Managers report into one of our twelve Regional Directors.) The main responsibilities of our Regional Directors include the management and development of our colleagues, regional financial and learner performance targets and budget achievement. If you are an experienced senior manager, this could be the exciting new role you have been looking for.

Operational Assistants
Each region is supported by a team of Senior Operational and Operational Assistants. This crucial position ensures the correct support is given to the management team within the region and all key administrative tasks and processes function smoothly, ensuring our learner experience is maximised.

Area Managers
Our Area Managers manage a team of up to six Training Assessors who deliver work-based learning to their caseload of learners, motivating them to achieve their NVQ Level 2 and 3 qualifications. This includes Key Skills and Technical Certificates. Travel throughout the region is an essential part of the role.

Learning Support Training Assessors / Tutors
Our Learning Support Training Assessors deliver Basic Skills and key (core) skills learning support to their caseload of learners.
Our Entry to Employment Tutors deliver learning to the E2E group who have a range of additional learning and social needs, with the aim of
re-engaging them in education, employment or training.

Sales Team
Our Sales Executives source learners by selling our services to companies across all sectors and areas within the region and to our corporate partnerships. This key role involves making regular contact with existing and potential new customers to sell Protocol products and maximising managed account potential within the region to consistently comply with our service level agreements. Extensive travel throughout the region is an essential part of the role. We have a team of Sales Managers throughout the UK to support and manage the Sales Executives. Our UK call centre, based in Yorkshire, supports the learner recruitment process.
Our Corporate Partnership & Marketing team account manage our corporate clients, building and developing relationships to increase our market presence.

Information Technology
This critical support function ensures the smooth running of our computer infrastructure. Our IT servicedesk takes daily incoming calls from our colleagues requiring IT assistance, they are supported by technical specialists who respond to the calls into our helpdesk. Network support, IT enhancements and a number of exciting technological developments are driven by our IT team.

Administration
Based at our head office in Cheshire and our regional centres in Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland, our data and administration colleagues ensure input learner data and progress are entered onto our system ensuring accurate records for 15,000+ learners at any time are maintained. Other areas include registration and certification of qualifications.

Finance Department
The head office based finance department in Protocol Skills is more than your average finance department. The close knit team does what you would expect from a finance department including purchase ledger, sales ledger, credit control and payroll. A specialist arm of finance draws down and manages the funding we receive directly from the government to fund our learning programmes. This team are also responsible for the preparation of colleague performance statistics and reports. Our Head of Contracting team negotiates and manages contracts with our funding bodies.

People Team
The People Team look after every aspect of our colleagues, from recruitment, learning and development right through to retirement.Our field based People Mangers cover the whole of the UK. We also have a Central People Team who support the world of the People Team In Operations, provide management information, handle all the people admin and look after colleage relations.

Quality Team
This team's main focus is to verify the quality and accuracy of the qualifications delivered by our Training Assessors, Tutors and Learning Support Training Assessors. The team is primarily split into two: one part looking after compliance to funding body requirements and the other part overseeing verification. Programme Specialists ensure all our learner materials are current and valid. The Quality Team drives and advises on the strategic direction of the learner journey and our internal processes.
